Big Brothers Big Sisters is a proven prevention program for youth. We provide them with a caring, responsible mentor through professionally supported one-on-one relationships.
Our purpose is to build, strengthen and promote positive relationships between youth, adults and families by facilitating mentoring relationships within our community.
In our own lives, each one of us was touched by someone - other than our parents - who broadened our horizons and brought a little magic into our lives.
Each of us can think of someone who brought excitement to the everyday, who made the mundane special, and who transformed us with little moments of magic. Do you remember the person who brought that light into your life? By becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister, you can do the same for a child. And you will both be forever changed by the experience.
Children need adult friends in their lives to help guide them through life's many obstacles. Through these experiences, a difference has been made in the lives of over 500 of children in the Butte County area.
We would like to invite you to be part of the magic.
